Mar Brasil – 2nd Season

A documentary series about what Brazilians are doing to tackle the enormous threat to Brazil's seas and to preserve the rich diversity of our coastline. Presented by Luciano Candisani, an oceanographer committed to fighting for the preservation of the seas and also an international award-winning photographer. "Mar Brasil" is both a warning, a call for awareness, and a love letter to the natural riches that make our world so enchanting. Above all, it is a reminder that if we breathe today, we owe it to the nature around us - and that if we want to take care of ourselves, we need to take care of the planet. It's all connected. In this sense, the second season gets closer to the communities that depend on the sea for their livelihood in order to identify the characteristics of this culture; its strengths, conflicts and contradictions. In its 5 episodes, the series explores in depth how Brazilians experience this culture, always emphasizing the importance of sustainability in this relationship and listening to experts and researchers on the subject.
