Little Secret

Based on the true story that inspired the eponymous bestseller, Little Secret is a film in which three stories are interwoven by a single secret that will reveal the tragic and beautiful lives of three families, and how hope, dreams and destiny can unite people from different parts of the world. Adopted in childhood by a loving family after losing her birth parents, Kat has always lived a life full of adventures. Now a teenager, Kat tries to conform to a "normal" life, while the world shows her that life can be cruel. Upon discovering a secret that puts her life at risk, she begins to question whether her dreams are still possible. This feature film was selected to represent Brazil in the Best Foreign Language category at the 2017 Oscars, in addition to winning the Cristal Lens Trophy for Best Feature Film at the Brazilian Film Festival in Miami.
